WHAT YOU’LL BRING 5+ years of experience in security engineering or adjacent engineering roles, with a strong focus on SaaS, identity, and cloud-based environments. Strong hands-on experience building automation and integrations using Python, including working with REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven systems. Experience integrating with and securing SaaS platforms using identity standards such as SAML, OAuth, OIDC, SCIM, and role-based access control. Experience enabling detection and response by designing log collection pipelines, normalizing data, and supporting security analytics. Demonstrated experience planning and executing security for medium to large-scale events, including conferences, executive offsites, and public-facing gatherings in a range of geographic locations. Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies, crowd dynamics, access control, and incident response. Experience managing and evaluating contract security providers. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to brief stakeholders at varying levels of seniority. This role requires deep technical research into complex cloud- and AI-native environments to identify the most significant, unaddressed risks. WHAT YOU’LL DO Conduct deep technical research to discover and report novel risks and attack vectors specific to modern cloud- and AI-native architectures and systems. Discover and articulate the highest unaddressed risk areas, working with Product and Engineering teams to translate research into product capabilities. Define necessary foundational product capabilities by delivering both compelling proofs of risk (demonstrating impact) and technical POCs (showing how to solve it). Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to ensure comprehensive risk coverage and support the investigation of new and complex product scope. WHAT YOU’LL BRING 5+ years of hands-on experience in security or security research, specifically relevant to modern cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, etc.). Strong hands-on skills with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Go) for automation and research, as well as query languages (e.g., KQL, SQL) for efficient data analysis of security telemetry. Proven ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and drive complex, multi-quarter research projects from initial concept through to clear, delivered impact. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of successfully collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g Product, Engineering, Marketing) to achieve shared goals. ADVANTAGE Specialized knowledge or research experience in AI security, focusing on risks to AI as deployed in the enterprise. What you’ll be doing: As a member of the Information Security Architecture Team, actively shape NVIDIA’s enterprise security architecture, aligning with business objectives, enterprise strategies, and the evolving cyber threat landscape. Demonstrated experience in delivering enterprise and domain security architectures and strategy. Deep knowledge of system, application, and infrastructure (network, cloud) security architecture . Must have experience with industry threat modeling frameworks and solutions Expertise in network security, including Zero Trust architectures, vulnerability assessment, encryption standards, and secure data handling. Proficient in Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and modern security technologies like SIEM, IDS/IPS, DLP, and endpoint protection. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with a broad cross-section of personnel to explain and ensure security measures.
